Academic Program and Credits
Students can elect among two academic options (I and II) that will allow them to earn the equivalent of up to 6 American credits. Next to taking seminars students are required to undertake a two-month internship. Interested students can also choose among two options (III and IV) for a shorter summer internship program that are both non-credited and focus on internship and internship learning experience.
Credited summer internship program of longer duration
I. option: two months
1. International Practicum (25-35 hours of internship per week)
2. Internship Seminar (30 teaching hours- 5 ECTS)
3. Academic Seminar (30 teaching hours - 5 ECTS)
4. Optional Polish language course (18 teaching hours- 2 ECTS)
Credits: 10-12 ECTS awarded by Collegium Civitas that is the equivalent of 5-6 American credits*
II. option: two months
1. International Practicum (25-35 hours of internship per week)
2. Internship Seminar (30 teaching hours - 5 ECTS)
3. Optional Polish language course (18 teaching hours- 2 ECTS)
Credits: 5-7 ECTS awarded by Collegium Civitas that is the equivalent of 2.5-3.5 American credits*

III. option: 6-week program
1. International Practicum (25-35 hours of internship per week) combined with individual tutorials

25-35 hours of internships per week for 8 weeks (June 1 – July 31) yielding international professional networking and experience.
Location: close to the center of Warsaw.

Internship Seminar (with individual tutorials if needed) provides a forum where students reflect upon their internship experience, submit and discuss summary of information interviews or present reflections about the events that they participated in/co-organized as part of their internship responsibilities, deliver multimedia internship presentation and a final project paper.

Academic Seminar
Academic Seminar (with indivudal tutorials if needed) on democratization, transition, role of civil society, the EU integration with a special focus on Central Europe combined with a guest speaker series with policy makers, NGOs' activists and entrepreneurs.

------Offical Transcript or Certificate of Completion
After completing the program (option I and option II) Collegium Civitas will issue an official transcript for each student that will include information about an internship organization, seminars taken, hours, ECTS credits and grades. The students who select option III and IV will receive Collegium Civitas certificate of completion that will include information about an internship organization and lenght/dates of internship.
