You are encouraged to buy and bring with you your own medical insurance particularly if you plan to travel outside Poland. Check with your insurance company its insurance policy coverage for Central Europe.

In addition to your own insurance Civitas will buy you a basic medical insurance (as part of your program fee) valid for the duration of the program on the territory of the Republic of Poland. The Polish insurance will cover:

1. Basic medical treatment: doctor’s visits and consultations up to 30,000 PLN*

2. Medical treatment as a result of unfortunate events (e.g. body injuries): stay in hospital, medical tests, treatment, procedures and operations up to 30,000 PLN*

3. Civil liability for causing injury, damage, death to a third party up to 10,000 PLN*
